LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Former political reporter Mark Hebert has been named to the 2014 class of the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame.
Mark was a political and investigative reporter for WHAS11 from 1987 until 2009, when he left news to take the job as director of media relations at the University of Louisville.
The induction ceremony will take place in May in Lexington.
Another member of the class of 2014 is Louisville native Hunter S. Thompson, the creator of gonzo journalism.
