(WHAS11) -- The man who crashed his experimental aircraft in Perry County has died from his injuries
The coroner tells us Charles Lunceford died Wednesday night from second and third degree burns over most of his body.
The crash happened Tuesday when Lunceford was trying to land near the Perry County Municipal Airport.
Lunceford is from Lewisport, Ky. and he was 69-years-old.
