LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- New information emerged about the murder suspect who died during a standoff with police.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Sam Weakly says 44-year-old Jerry Ross was shot in the chest and leg. He says those wounds appear to have been self-inflicted.
Ross was wanted for questioning in the shooting death of his wife who was found dead at their home on May 16.
He was found dead inside a home on Dixie Highway after an eleven hour standoff with police that ended early Saturday morning.
