LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A rash of car break-ins in eastern Jefferson County has led to the arrest of a suspect.
Police caught 23-year-old William Dodson breaking into a west Louisville home but many of the thefts occurred in the east end.
According to police, he confessed to stealing from unlocked cars and breaking into garages and homes.
Police say he took whatever he could easily pawn in order to feed off a heroin addiction.
His victims say they’re glad to have him off of the streets.
Dodson is facing more than 60 charges including burglary and police expect to file more charges soon.
