LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The man who pleaded guilty to the 1994 shooting of UK football player Trent Diguiro was back in court Thursday, Jan. 16.
Shane Ragland's ex-girlfriend asked a judge to dismiss an emergency protection order against him and said she never wanted to file it.
It had been put in place after Ragland allegedly put her in a headlock, hit her and bit her. The judge decided to let it stand saying they need to further investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, the no-contact order with the ex-girlfriend will stand as well.
Ragland will be back in court in February.
