LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – There are three days until Christmas and retailers are cashing in on last minute shoppers.

For the first time ever, Macy’s will be keeping their doors open around the clock during this last busy weekend before Christmas.

These extended hours will give those who put off buying their Christmas gifts to the very end and some much needed time to finish their shopping.

“It seems like there’s a lot of men out, maybe shopping for their wives or girlfriends. There’s a lot of last minute people it looks like,” shopper Sara Tucker said.

“Procrastination. You know, it take a whole year to figure out you’ve gotta do it the last day, you know but a lot of good deals, a lot of good sales. Just trying to pick up some last minute gifts for the kids and grandkids.

Saturdays before Christmas are typically busy which is why it’s dubbed “Super Saturday.”

Many stores take advantage of last minute shoppers by offering big one day sales.
