(WHAS 11)--MSD wants to hear from you.

The Metro Sewer District is holding a public meeting tonight with an update on its program to overhaul our aging sewer system.

The Sewer Overflow Abatement program involves switching out the old pipes and connections to help overflow problems.

The project will continue through 2024 and is estimated to cost 850 million.

The meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Shively Center Hall on Dixie Highway.
