(WHAS11) -- A Louisville pharmacist was arrested for allegedly writing prescriptions to himself and is charged with forgery of a prescription, and possession of a forged prescription.

He's a pharmacist at the Rite Aid in the 8600 block of Preston Highway. Redmond was arrested Friday afternoon after loss prevention officers noticed he was filling prescriptions improperly.

Redmond allegedly admitted to writing himself a prescription and changing the dosage amount on another prescription.
