LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The University of Louisville Cardinals versus the University of Kentucky Wildcats might be the talk of the town, but the Louisville fire and police departments are going to be battling it out on the basketball court too!  The annual Patriot Game is at the Kentucky International Convention Center on Thursday, September 9.
Doors open at 3:30pm with plenty of youth activities including a free basketball clinic put on by the Bellarmine University basketball coach and his team.
Of course, today there was a little trash talking, but it all goes to a great cause, The Healing Place.  The Healing Place helps the addicted and homeless.  They serve more than 500 men and women daily on two campuses.
