LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The passenger trains at the Louisville Zoo are moving again.
The zoo has begun test runs for two new trains that will soon carry passengers.
The trains come from the same company that provides trains for the Disney parks.
This is a big first step for the zoo after the devastating train derailment that injured 22 people nearly four years ago. Since then, there have been several lawsuits against the zoo, the operators that day and the city.
The zoo has spent more than $1 million buying the train and improving the safety and tracks.
The new trains have improved safety features and the staff training has been changed.
