Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Slugger Factory is busy producing bats for the Major League Baseball All-Star game.
Thursday morning, crews were putting on the slugger logo before they send the bats off to Kansas City.
The bats will be used for the all star game, the futures game and the home run derby.
Organizers say there is also a chance the bats could be used for the rest of the season.
“Actually, if they get hot with that bat, they'll probably take it back to their club and use it in the second half of the season,” Rick Redman, an organizer, said.
The Louisville Slugger Factory has produced bats for every all star game for the last 83 years.
