Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- The Louisville Orchestra says it's going to begin the process of hiring permanent replacements for musicians.
That could happen as early as next week after a breakdown in negotiations between both sides.
The orchestra says it sent out a letter to the musicians giving them until next Monday to decide if they want to preserve their positions.
The musicians have accepted the outlines of a proposal, including number of players for the life of the contract, and the provision that we work out that the final details over the weekend.
