LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A woman is behind bars after police say she stabbed a man 6 times earlier this month.

25-year-old Jaquila Moore faces a string of charges including attempted murder and robbery.

The Courier Journal reports that on September 1, Moore stabbed a man who was in an altercation with her sister and said to him “I told you I would kill for my sister.”

It’s not the first time Moore has been in the news. In May she was arrested after an attempted robbery at Burlington Coat Factory and last year she and her sisters were charged in a brutal attack that involved pouring bleach in another woman’s face.

Moore is being held on a $25,000 bond at Metro Corrections. She’s due in court on October 1 for a preliminary hearing.
