LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The charges against a Louisville man accused of killing his sister have been reduced.
Jules Snead was indicted Thursday on second degree manslaughter. He was charged earlier in the week with murder when his sister, Jericka Snead, was taken off life support.
The grand jury returned the indictment Thursday. Second degree manslaughter means the jurors did not think he intended to harm Jericka.
The shooting happened at a home on Trotter’s Trace off Beulah Church Road. Police say the two got into an argument when the shooting happened, but additional details are unknown at this time.
Jericka Snead was shot in the leg last week. Jules Snead rushed her to the hospital but her family says she lost a lot of blood. She was on life support but she died on Monday.
