In 2014 the Belle of Louisville will turn 100 and on Wednesday Gov. Steve Beshear, Mayor Greg Fischer and Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore met to discuss the “Centennial Festival of Riverboats.”

Next October, Louisville will host a week long celebration that will gather nine different boats along the waterfront to celebrate American riverboat heritage.
