LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Chef Troy King and his business partner are shaking up the local restaurant scene.

King is raising money on Kickstarter to by a former city transport bus from Florida and he plans to transform it into a “Bustaraunt.”

“There's only three of them in the country,” King said.

Inside it will be nearly half commercial kitchen and half dining area. The menu will feature burgers, hot dogs, tacos and salads.

“Mundane American fast food and we make it gourmet,” King said.

King is also focusing on farm to table, buying all local ingredients, including beef from a farm in LaGrange. He’s already scouted locations in the Highlands, Nulu and on Shelbyville Rd. to park and serve.

People will also be able to rent out the bus for parties or dinner dates.

He’s hoping to be up and running by June 15th.
