LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – WHAS11’s Joe Arnold was one of 25 local celebrities who helped raised money for cystic fibrosis at an event Saturday night.
Former Louisville basketball head coach Denny Crum and his wife Susan hosted the 45th annual Celebrity Dinner Party at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Celebrity waiters donated their time and their tips to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis as well as those living with it today.
“We feel an obligation to do the best we can and make this community a better place to live and raise kids and that’s what we’re trying to do,” Crum said.
In addition to tips, donations were raised through a silent auction and a live auction.
