Officials with the Lincoln Trail District Health Department say they will begin giving out the H1N1 vaccine in schools next week.

That district includes the counties of Grayson, Hardin, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson and Washington in Kentucky.

Officials say clinics will begin next week and continue throughout the rest of this year.

Elementary school children will be given the vaccine first.

Consent forms will have to be signed by parents in order for the children to receive the vaccine.
