LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Attorneys for Steve Adkins were back in court Thursday morning where they set a date for another hearing in October. Lawyers for the former assistant chief of the Camp Taylor Fire Department said they hope to have the case dismissed by next month.

This all stems from a lawsuit filed by two firefighters who claim they were subjected to a hostile work environment, sexual harassment and threats of retaliation.

Adkins resigned from his post earlier this month.
