Law enforcement agencies in Bullitt County to get new weapons

BULLITT CO., Ky. (WHAS11) -- Law enforcement agencies in Bullitt County will be able to buy new duty weapons thanks to a grant announced by Governor Steve Beshear.

The city of Pioneer Village was the only area to receive money for weapons. Twelve other agencies across Kentucky will spend their funds on body armor vests.

Pioneer Village was awarded $2,454.
