JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Inmates at the Clark County Jail had to be evacuated after a fire broke out in the laundry room.
On Wednesday Jeffersonville firefighters responded to the fire at about 6:30 p.m.
Officials say no one was hurt and police were standing by supervising the inmates while firefighters put the fire out.
