LaRue County superintendent suspended without pay following DUI

LARUE COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The LaRue County superintendent has been suspended for 30 days without pay after police arrested him for drunk driving in a district-owned vehicle.

The News Enterprise reported the school board made the decision in a closed session on Monday night.

Dash cam showed Sam Sanders' arrest in late March.

Sanders has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
