LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police say three vehicles were involved in an accident on the Watterson Expressway westbound near Taylor Boulevard at around 12:19 p.m.
The two right hand lanes of the Watterson Expressway westbound were closed while crews worked to clear the accident. A Ford Escape, Ford Explorer and Ford Ranger pick-up were involved in this accident. The Ranger rear-ended the Explorer, which then struck the Ford Escape.
Officials report the officer only had minor injuries and was transported to University Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
