Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - LMPD is attempting to identify a female who has been using stolen credit cards at various Walgreens around the city.

These credit cards have been stolen primarily from car break-ins around the parks and other parking lots. It is believed that she has struck well over 20 times.

One of the hardest hit locations is Thurman Hutchins Park, off Zorn Ave.

She breaks into locked cars, by smashing in windows, and snatches purses full of credit cards, in broad daylight.

Louisville Metro Police say she acts quickly, heading straight for local Walgreens, along Frankfort Ave. and Shelbyville Rd, at one point, targeting a Family Dollar on Brownsboro Rd.

In at least 50 cases of credit card theft, this woman used the credit cards to buy gift cards, mostly Visas, worth $100 each. Police say she's purchased close to $5,000 in gift cards.

While she's the only one caught on camera, police believe she has a male accomplice.

"I think he's the one driving and breaking windows, and of course he needs a female accomplice since he's stealing from Women's purses," Det. Chris Horn, with LMPD's 5th division, said.

Police are asking for your help in this case. If you have any knowledge of this woman's identity, call 574-LMPD.
