LMPD: Lou. man admits to stealing $2,000 in meat from Kroger

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- A Louisville man is arrested after police said he stole more than $2,000 of meat from a local grocery store.

Police arrested Jason Moser after they said he admitted to stealing meat products from a Kroger store.

The arrest citation said he stole up to $2,500 from the meat department of Kroger during a 6 week period that ended with his arrest.

Moser was arrested at the Kroger store in the 1200 block of Goss Avenue.

A loss prevention staff member said they confirmed Moser took the merchandise by using surveillance video.

Moser is charged with shoplifting.
