LMPD bomb unit called to Hanover Road

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Army came to a residence in the 3600 block of Hanover Road, in St. Matthews, after two mortar rounds were found on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The LMPD Bomb Squad helped the Army carry out the mortar rounds.

Police in St. Matthews secured Hanover Road after people working inside a residence found two, old mortar rounds at about 11:23 a.m.
