(WHAS11) - Police are looking for a man who escaped from the LaRue County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police say George Gaunt III escaped yesterday.
Police describe Gaunt as a white male, 6’2’’ and weighing 180 pounds, with green eyes and blonde hair.
Police say he stole a 1999 blue Ford Crown Victoria with the Kentucky license plate F-7881 and could be heading towards Cincinnati.
Police urge anyone with information to call 270-766-5078.
