LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A flight attendant that was about to board a plane at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington is also facing charges after police say her blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit.

“My first thought was that's amazing, they know what the rules are and I feel sorry for the passengers that were unnecessarily delayed and had to be rebooked on other flights,” David Leep, a traveler, said.

Airport officials say Delta employee, Nancy Bray, had a blood alcohol content of .258 on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

While booking her, police say they also found narcotics on her.

The arrest delayed the flight she was supposed to be on for more than 2 hours. On Wednesday, Jan. 15, Bray pleaded not guilty to "being an aircrew member under the influence" and for having possession of a controlled substance.
