LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Jefferson County parent says a registered sex offender who assaulted his 11-year-old daughter remained active on social media even though it was a violation of probation.

The father's concern worsened when he says this information fell on deaf ears with the offender's probation officer.

A photo of 18-year-old TJ Chaddic will remain on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry for the next 20 years.

Chaddic did not receive jail time after pleading guilty to sexual abuse in the second degree. But the victim's father says he's violated his probation by using Instagram, a social media site, and talking with other young girls online.

After our coverage last night, Chaddic appeared to have taken down his Instagram page. However, we've not been told of any reprimands for this sex offender.

The Department of Corrections would only speak on protocol for a case similar to this, but would not give specifics of this case.

UPDATE:

At approximately 7 p.m., WHAS11 was alerted to the fact that a violation report has been generated for Chaddic.  Brooke Hasch will be bringing the latest developments in the story tonight at 11 p.m.
