LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) - - The three suspects accused of kidnapping a man and locking him inside a trunk bound and gagged appeared before a judge Tuesday.

Brittany Elder, 28, Joseph Davis, 28, and Trent Blye, 27, are all charged with kidnapping, wanton endangerment and theft.

Police say the man was abducted from his job at a Shell gas station on Taylorsville Road near Taylorsville Lake.

An officer pulled the car over at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in front of the Old Chicago Restaurant, that's when the officer said he heard a noise in the trunk and called for backup.

The victim was not seriously injured. He was treated at the hospital for dehydration.
