LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Someone in Louisville became a millionaire after hitting it big in the Powerball.
Kentucky Lottery officials say a one million dollar winning ticket was sold at the convenience store gift shop inside the PNC Tower at 5th and Main Streets. That ticket matched every number except the Powerball.
So far no one has come forward to claim the big prize. The store was excited to get the call Thursday morning they will get $15,000 for selling the ticket.
Two Kentucky tickets matched four numbers and the Powerball. One was sold at a Thornton's on Shelbyville Road and the other was sold in Newport, Kentucky. Those tickets are worth $10,000.
One ticket in Virginia won the $217 million jackpot.
