LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Kentucky State Fair Board released a report today on the structural stability of Cardinal Stadium.

It's recommended that the outer perimeter of the stadium's grandstand area be roped off by at least 15 feet in the event of falling brick or concrete.

The report also pointed out that the roof could sustain winds up to 50 miles per hour.

Back in January, the State Fair Board requested state engineers to look into the structural deficiencies of the 57-year-old stadium.
