Kentucky Bourbon Trail has record year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Kentucky Bourbon Trail had a record year in 2013.

The Kentucky Distillers Association reported more than 630,000 visitors checked in to the trail that showcases the state’s historical distilleries and eventually winds into Louisville to finish off the Urban Bourbon Trail.

These are increased numbers from 2012, when nearly 570,000 people made their way down the trail.

According to the report from the KDA, visitors came from all 50 states and more than 50 countries to tour the distilleries of the Commonwealth.
