Kentuckiana storm damage reports

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The severe weather wreaking havoc across the Midwest has made its way into Kentuckiana.

Storm trackers and weather watchers are keeping us abreast of the damage affecting the area.

4:43PM - Duke Energy reports more than 45,000 power outages Tippecanoe (Lafayette) and Howard Counties in Indiana.

4:56PM - LG&E reporting 38 power outages as the storm nears

5:11PM - Trees reported down in Scipio, Indiana (Jennings County)

5:18PM - Trees and power lines down in Bedford, Indiana. A tree has also been reported of damaging a house just outside of Bedford (south).

5:28PM - Duke Energy reporting 55,000 people without power. 14,000 of that is in Kokomo.

6:00PM - Indiana storm power outage reports:

Jennings County 1

Jackson County 12

Lawrence County 122

10:41PM - Duke Energy says 24,000 customers in Kentucky and 45,000 in Indiana are currently without power.

They confirm the hardest hit counties are Clermont, Butler and Hamilton in Ohio; Kenton and Campbell in Kentucky; Howard, Tippecanoe, Bartholomew, Vigo, Clinton, Fountain, Tipton, Henry, Cass, Monroe, Hendricks, Carroll, Greene, Vermillion, Hancock, Wabash, and Brown counties in Indiana.
