LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kentuckiana residents were able to break out their snow gear Saturday.
Many took advantage of the snow fall and headed to Cherokee Park.
"When you're in Kentucky you have to take advantage of any snow you get," John Borders said.
Some were able to use their sleds for the first time this year. "It's fun to play in."
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet had crews on standby throughout Saturday prepared for any severe weather, but road crews did not get dispatched after the early morning snow.
