KSP asking public to help in locating missing man

BROWNS GROVE, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police are asking for public help in locating a dementia patient missing in Calloway County.
 
Police say 77-year-old George B. Vernot was last seen Monday afternoon leaving his home in Browns Grove in a 2006 Chevrolet Impala.
 
Vernot is a white man, who is about 5-foot-8 and weighs about 200 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
 
His white Chevrolet bears Kentucky license plate 586 BBG.
 
Tips should be phoned to the KSP at 1-800-222-5555.
