KSP arrest man suspected of Big Springs attempted robbery, shooting

Steven Goodman is charged with two counts of Robbery 1st, Attempted Murder, six counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st, Theft By Unlawful Taking (Automobile), Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, and Tampering with Physical Evidence in Hardin County. He was also charged with one count of Robbery 1st and Kidnapping in Meade County.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kentucky State Police have made and arrest in connection with multiple armed robberies in Big Springs, Ky. earlier this week.

Police said they arrested 21-year-old Steven C. Goodman Monday. He is accused of trying to rob Carolyn’s Corner Store at gunpoint and shooting the clerk when a struggle ensued.

Goodman is charged with two counts of Robbery 1st, Attempted Murder, six counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st, Theft By Unlawful Taking (Automobile), Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, and Tampering with Physical Evidence in Hardin County.  He was also charged with one count of Robbery 1st and Kidnapping in Meade County.

He is being held at the Hardin County Detention Center.
