LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A judge has denied the probation request for a man in jail who was once accused of attempted murder.
John Jones, Known as Hot Boy, asked a judge last week that he be released on shock probation.
Earlier in 2012, Jones was acquitted on attempted murder charges. He was accused of shooting a woman in the face in St. Matthews.
But a jury convicted him of being a persistent felony offender and tampering with a witness.
He was sentenced to ten years.
