LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A judge has ruled the University of Louisville Hospital must comply with Kentucky's open records law.
The judge said in a ruling that the hospital is a public entity and its board is appointed or approved by the university which is a pubic agency.
That means the public will be able to access information about the hospital after a partnership with KentuckyOne Health was announced last week.
In a statement, University Hospital said it is disappointed by the ruling and is reviewing it to consider an appeal.
