LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence picked up the biggest honor in movies at the Academy Awards. She took home the Oscar for Best Actress.
Mayor Greg Fischer reached out to the actress on Facebook and Twitter, asking how the city should honor her.
Popular ideas include naming her Grand Marshal of the Pegasus Parade, and installing a "Jennifer's Louisville" banner, similar to the ones for Diane Sawyer and Colonel Sanders.
