JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WHAS11) -- Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a field near Holmans Lane on Sunday morning.
Coroner Terry Conway says the cause of death appears to be hypothermia. They are still waiting on a toxicology screen. The coroner says foul play is not suspected and has been ruled out.
The coroner tells WHAS11 they are not releasing the identity until next of kin is notified.
According to Jeffersonville Public Information Officer Todd Hollis, a passerby reported seeing a body in a field near Holmans Lane around 11 a.m. Sunday. When police responded they found the body of a middle-aged white male.
