Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - When JCPS students head back to class next Wednesday, they'll be paying more for lunch.

The district is raising prices by ten cents.

Elementary students will now pay $2.50. Middle and high school lunches will cost $2.60.

Also this year, JCPS is expanding the free and reduced lunch program to more than 50,000 kids.

If you believe your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch, we've linked you up to the application right here.
