LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – New information is slated to be released this week regarding the deadly explosion that happened at Carbide Industries in Rubbertown.

The U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board has called a public meeting this Thursday at the Seelbach Hotel to discuss what went wrong.

They are also expected to lay out safety recommendations.
