LOUISVILLE, Ky. --  A Radcliff police officer found himself on the other side of the law late Sunday, Sept. 29, when investigators say he was drunk in public and made terroristic threats.

According to the incident report, 33-year-old Brian Clear was outside his home on the 100 block of Edgewood Road and was barely able to stand. Police say he admitted to being drunk and was leaning against a woman's car when he was arrested.

Once Clear was handcuffed police say he threatened to hurt officers in the Radcliff Police Department.

Clear has worked for the department for less than a year.

The Radcliff Police Chief would not comment on Clear's pending charges citing a personnel matter, but the chief did say an internal investigation had been launched.

Clear has been released from the Hardin County Detention Center and has been suspended from the police department.
