Ind. farmers: Copper thieves costings us thousands

JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – Farmers are dealing with a copper thief who’s costing them thousands of dollars in damage done to irrigation systems.

Farmers have reported several thefts of copper wiring taken from irrigation systems in the north central part of the county.

Investigators believe four wheelers are being used to drive onto farms at night.
