INDIANAPOLIS (WHAS11) – Indiana governor elect Mike Pence celebrated his inauguration with a big party Saturday evening.
The inaugural ball and dinner took place at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis.
Pence will not be sworn in until Monday morning, but he’s already moving into his new office.
“It’s a big challenge but we’ll ready for it. I’m very humbled by the opportunity but very anxious to get started,” Pence said.
Governor Mitch Daniels moved out his boxes Friday afternoon and all of his belongings are set to be moved to Purdue University where he will serve as president.
