LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- WHAS11 has obtained a copy of the police incident report from a fatal accident that happened last Thursday on the Sherman Minton Bridge.
According to the incident report the two people struck on the bridge had "very high levels of CNS depressants in their systems and were under the influence of those drugs at the time they were struck." This is according to toxicology test results.
Russell Scholl and Krista Hagedorn were struck while tending to her broken down vehicle. Scholl tells WHAS11 he plans to file a lawsuit citing neglect against the state of Indiana for lighting issues. The Indiana Department of Transportation has declined to comment on Scholl's plans for a lawsuit.
