Bus Finder, important phone numbers for the first day of school for thousands of JCPS students

   LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Monday is the last night of summer vacation for thousands of Jefferson County Public School students.

Elementary schools start at 9:05am and end at 3:45pm
Middle and high schools start at 7:40am and end at 2:20pm

The JCPS transportation director is reminding parents that they could see some delays at the bus stops since it's the first day.  Some children may get home later than expected, but the district has made changes that they hope will make the bus ride shorter for elementary students.
