(WHAS11) -- We now know the identity of the woman who died on the Sherman Minton Bridge Thursday night after being struck by a car while tending to her broken down vehicle.
The coroner's office says Krista Hagedorn, 27, of Sellersburg died of multiple blunt force injuries after being taken to University of Louisville Hospital.
Hagedorn and a male companion were walking back to their stalled vehicle when the accident happened. He was injured but his name has not been released.
Her death sparked concern about the lack of lighting on the upper deck of the Sherman Minton Bridge. Indiana's Transportation Department says there is an electrical problem affecting the lights and it will not be fixed until 2015.
