JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Human remains found at a Jeffersonville church have been identified.
The coroner said the remains are that of Stephen Reedy. Police said Reedy was reported missing back in Sept. 2011 at the age of 26.
He worked for 10 years at the Dairy Queen on 10th Street.
Shauntelle Fountain was his co-worker.
“He was a really good guy, hard worker, nice person, very smart,” Fountain said.
In February his remains were found behind the Faith Lutheran Church at the intersection of Allison and Lutz lanes. He lived at the Beech Grove apartments located next to the church.
The coroner said he could not determine the cause of death because the condition of the remains.
Funeral arrangements for Reedy have yet to be announced.
